Lifestyles’ award winning team is comprised of members who have a substantial background in remodeling, as well as new home construction. The team includes Certified Remodelers, ASID Certified Interior Designers, and Certified Lead Carpenters. We remain updated on the latest materials and trends in residential design and construction so that we are able to find the best solutions for our clients. All of our team members attend yearly classes to keep abreast of building codes and requirements. We make it our business to remain educated on issues such as mold and mildew, lead paint, and renewable building materials (Building Green).

The Lifestyles Team

The Lifestyles team consists of Scott Balentine, CR, CLC, Jacquie Thomas, Interior Designer, Anthony “Buzz” Koeplinger, CR, and Ted Kincaid, CLC.

Scott handles the sales & estimating requirements of Lifestyles, oversees company performance, and assists Jacquie in project design. He has been involved in residential construction for over 14 years and has an extensive in both new home construction and remodeling. Scott achieved his Certified Lead Carpenter certification in 1999 and his Certified Remodeler certification in 2002 through the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. Scott has been the Certified Lead Carpenter class facilitator for Kansas City NARI for the past four years. Scott also sat on the NARI Board of Directors for three years, served as President of Kansas City NARI in 2006, and is currently Chairman of the Board. Jacquie is the interior designer for Lifestyles Custom Homes & Remodeling, Inc. However, most clients get to know her for her ability to make their project more than they dreamed it could be. Jacquie works with clients to incorporate a pleasing combination of aesthetics and functionality to Lifestyles’ designs. Jacquie brings over 20 years of experience in new home layout and interior design. Jacquie is a student member of ASID, NKBA and IIDA.

Buzz Koeplinger, CR is Lifestyles’ Senior Project Manager. He has been involved in residential construction and remodeling, HVAC installation, and commercial maintenance for more than 25 years. Buzz’s great personality and extensive knowledge allows him to produce exceptional projects efficiently and professionally.

Ted Kincaids, CLC is also a Project Manager for Lifestyles. Ted brings over five years worth of residential remodeling experience to the team. Ted honed his leadership and management skills while serving seven years in the United States Army. Four of those years were spent as a sergeant. Ted also spent 2 ½ years as a project manager for Level 3 Communications constructing equipment shelters and coordinating subcontractors. Clients are continually impressed with Ted’s professionalism, discipline, and attention to detail.
